Odds as of May 2nd

Kevin Durant Can’t Be Stopped

There are many players in the NBA but there is only one Kevin Durant. He’s finally fully healthy and if anyone had a doubt, Durant silenced them emphatically. Last time out against the Pacers, there was literally nothing that could be done to stop him no matter what Indiana tried.

In Durant’s last three games, he has played at least 28 minutes in all of them and has scored at least 33 points in two of the three. This game Sunday will no doubt have a playoff vibe as both teams will be looking to get a little playoff feel before the real thing starts. As long as this game stays close, Durant should see a minimum of 20 shots which should lead to at least 28 points.

  • The Pick: Durant OVER 27.5 Points (-108)

Middleton Has Range

While Brooklyn has multiple people that are a problem for everyone, so does Milwaukee. Besides Giannis Antetokounmpo, teams have to also worry about Khris Middleton. He’s heating up for the playoffs and bettors would be smart to keep him on their radars on Sunday.

Middleton is especially effective from beyond the arc. He isn’t exactly a three-point specialist as he only scores 33.5% of his points from behind the three-point line but that doesn’t mean he is someone to let slide from deep. Over his last three games, he has taken at least eight attempts from three-point land.

He’s not only taking shots from deep, he’s also hitting them. In the last three games, Middleton has hit at least three three-pointers in two of them. Brooklyn gave up 44.4% in their last game from downtown so if they aren’t careful, Middleton will drain at least three three-pointers on Sunday.

  • The Pick: Middleton OVER 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (+134)
